Minjia Yan is the Director of Investment at Millennium Commercial Properties. She is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and working with the team to identify investment and development opportunities in Southern Nevada and other states. She conducts market analysis, financial modeling, and due diligence, and helps secure the project’s debt and equity. She is teaching Real Estate Investment at the Lied Center for Real Estate.

An active member of the industry, she serves on the board of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Las Vegas Chapter and Urban Land Institute Nevada district council’s management committee. She also serves as the chair of ULI Nevada’s Sustainable Development Council and Women’s Leadership Initiative, believing in placemaking and shaping the future of the built environment for transformative impact in the community.

In addition, she is on the board of directors of the NV AAPI (Asian American Pacific Islander) Chamber of Commerce and UNLV Alumni Association’s Lee Business School chapter, and the AAPI Alumni Affinity Club.

She was honored by Business Insider as “Top Rising Stars in Real Estate” in 2020 and by Commercial Property Executive as “Stars to Watch” in 2022. She holds a Master’s degree in Real Estate with a concentration in Finance and Investment from New York University and a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting from UNLV.
